The audited company must have the program documentation for the material procured so that the source of the material can be easily identified.
C. Product Identification and Traceability

D. Process Control
The audited establishment shall identify all production processes involving the processing of wood products that originated from materials approved by the recognized forest. Businesses must ensure that COC-certified products are manufactured and processed only after the raw materials have been certified as certified forest. E. Handling, storage, packaging and shipping
The audited business records and maintains the program documentation for product handling, storage, packaging and shipping. The audited entity shall establish, implement and maintain the program documents for identifying, collecting, indexing, populating, storing, maintaining and disposing of the record of its major activities according to the scope of operation. Product records must be clearly understood. Records must be comprehensive to trace the origin of wood and wood products.
